Retro Car Happy Birthday

Hi Die-Versions Fans,

Today I want to share with you a card that I made for someone who is turning 16 and getting his permit to drive.  For this 4 1/2 inch by 6 inch card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  Next I took some silver paper and ran it thru my Vagabond with a Diamond Plate embossing folder and then I glued that to the base of the card.  Next I took the Whispers Retro Car die and cut it out twice, once with red shimmer paper and once with silver paper.  I glue the red car to the black paper and then inlaid the silver stripes on the car.  I then distressed the edges of the black paper and glued that onto the silver and black stripe paper.  Next I took the Corner Concepts Happy Birthday die (retired die)  and cut that out with brown shimmer paper, I attached the square with the car to the Happy Birthday and placed that on the card.  I then cut out the 16 from the Missy Micro font with black paper and then I glued them onto the brown tag with the Whisper Tag Set and I attached that to the top right corner with a bronze brad.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto some white paper, cut the fish tail end with my scissors and then inked the edges with black ink and attached that to the card.

Here are the dies that I used:
