Hello crafty friends,

For my post today, I have two cards featuring the super cute new Octopus die:

The card on the left was quick and easy... pattern paper for the card front,  die cut octopi/octopodes/octopuses (?) from pink card stock and a die cut Hello.

The card on the right took a little longer.  It's my take on a card I saw Sandy Allnock's create called Zentangle Stamped Octopus.  I loved her card so much that I just had to make one for myself.   I put my own spin on the card's design.  First, I used variegated blue pattern paper for my card front, because I can't seem to keep white cards white.  I die cut a few Octopuses from white card stock, dry embossed them with a tiny circle folder and inked them w/light blue ink.  Next I glued them to the card front and using several small circle stamps, started stamping in all the open spaces.

Once I filled the card front, I added a few blue sequins and my version of Sandy's card was done.

Thanks for stopping bye today, leave me some feedback or links to your projects using some of our great dies.  Don't forget to use the code mary15 for 15% off your order (not valid with sales or discounts) when shopping at Die-Versions.
