Hello crafty friends,

I have two cards showcasing the beautiful Rose Whispers die for you today... hope you like them :)

For this BIRTHDAY card, I did a partial die cut of the Rose die.  I took my card front (a precut piece of watercolor pink pattern paper) and placed the Rose die in the position I wanted.  I placed my top cutting plate at a point that would only cut the top portion of the die.  The parts of the die not cover by the cutting plate will not cut.

For this LOVE card, I die cut the complete rose and colored it.  I glued it back into place and backed the whole card front with a piece of clear plastic, which I first dry embossed with the same tiny dot folder.

Having used clear plastic on the inside of my card, I was left with an inside panel full of adhesive showing and we can't have that.  So I die cut a second rose and flipping it over to get the mirror image, I glued it over the back of the front rose over the plastic.  I added pattern paper to the rest of the panel.
Now, I'll be honest and say, that I'm not happy w/how the inside turned out.  This was my test card and I didn't do that great of a job coloring the inside rose.  Also the pp I picked isn't to my liking now.  I do I love how fun clear plastic adds a fun new element to my card and will definitely my doing this again.

Thanks for stopping bye today, leave me some feedback or links to your projects using some of our great dies.
