Hummingbird Heaven

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Today I want to share 3 cards with you that I made with the new Whispers Bird die!  I am in love with this particular die!  It reminds me of the beautiful hummingbirds that hover over my flowers in my back yard.  But you could certainly use it for any kind of bird.

Here is my first card:

For this 5 X 7 inch card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of blue sky paper, inked the edges with Broken China distress ink and added that to the card.  I took the Whispers Bird die and cut it out with black shimmer paper.  I stamped the flowers with black ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  Next I colored them with my Copic markers and mounted the flowers on some navy blue paper and then added that to the card.  Next I took the black Whispers Bird die and added that to the card. I placed a black gem on the bird for the eye.and then I stamped the sentiment in black ink.

Here is my next card:

For this A2 card I started with white card stock, I took a piece of teal paper and dry embossed it with my Lifestyle Crafts Whimsy embossing folder, and then I placed that on the card base.  Next I took some white paper and I used the largest square in the Whispers Stitched Nesting Squares and I placed that in the middle of the card.  Then I cut out the Whispers Bird die with some iridescent paper and added the bird to the card.  I took a black gem and placed that on the bird for the eye.

My last card:

For this A2 card I started with green card stock for the base of the card.  Next I took a piece of white paper and dry embossed it with a Lifestyle Crafts Floral embossing folder and then added that to the base of the card.  Next I cut out the Whispers Bird die in white paper and colored it with gelatos to look like a ruby throat hummingbird. I stamped the flower with Versamark onto vellum paper and then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and then fussy cut it out and pieced it together with a yellow button brad and added that to the card. I placed a black gem on the bird for the eye.  I then placed the hummingbird on the card taking a drink of nectar from the flower!

So which one of my cards is your favorite!  Everyone in my house picked a different one so I am curious to see which one is everyone's favorite!
