Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Today I am here with you to share a card that I made with the new release Die-Versions Stitched Nesting Squares.

Gathered Twigs distress ink
Kraft card stock
Clear embossing powder

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  Then I took the new Stitched Nesting Squares and cut out the squares in different paper from the Wild Rose Studio Vintage Rose paper pack, I thought  this paper pack would really make the Stitched Nesting Squares stand out. Each square has stitching along the edge, although you don't really see the stitching real good in this picture.  After I cut out all the squares I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs distress ink and glued them all together into the quilt block pattern.  When I first got this die set I knew I wanted to make a quilt card!  Next I took a piece of the brown pattern paper, inked the edges and added that to the base of the card and then I put the quilt block on the card.  Next I stamped the sentiment from the Jillian Vance Quilt Quotes Stamps and stamped that with brown ink on some kraft card stock and then heat embossed that with clear embossing powder, cut that out, inked the edges with the same brown ink and added that to the card.  Lastly I inked all around the edges of the card with the Gathered Twig distress ink.  So what do you think?  Does this look like one of your Grandmother's old quilts!
