Cruise Adventures with Die Versions

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this is my new layout made with Die Versions new stamps and dies set Sailaway set.
As a " well known world traveller" I have a lot of sea photos and this layout was made to use those new DV dies and stamps.
As you can see I stamped 3 tickets with 3 different stamps from this set. The cluster on the right middle of the page was  made with 3 stamped and die cut images and  colored a bit over the stamped pieces.
I also stamped the birds from this set on the top of the piece and doodled inside with white pen.
I also made a step by step instructions for this layout and you are welcome to try the similar one:

Product list:
Stamps, dies: Die-Versions Sail away dies
Sail away stamps
Paper, stickers: Paper House Productions
Inks: Ranger
Mist: Lindy's Stamp Gang
Other: lace, ribbon, buttons
Sketch: SG Create
Step by step instructions:
1.Use paper with birds as your layout base. Cut the beach paper to 8*8'' square and adhere it over the basic paper as shown.
2.Cut a strip of a " wood like " paper from the same pad and punch it with circled punch. Adhere the punched strip vertically as shown. Add a strip of a blue lace tape and a piece of blue ribbon near the punched strip.
3. Glue the main photo. Make tag from another photo and mat it with the light blue paper left from the strip cut.
4. Stamp the sayings and make a hand made tickets from the stamped sayings. Adhere all three tickets as shown. Glue the 3d title  over the photos.
5. Make 2 embellishments clusters with stamped and die cut sea images. Add cork stickers over both clusters.
6. Stamp birds around the page with blue ink and doodle inside the stamped birds with white pen. Add random blue mists around the page. Glue a few buttons as shown.

Hope you like my small tutorial and see you soon again!

Dashing Through the Snow

It's never too early to start on Christmas cards and a perfect way to do that is to use the new Die-Stamp sets from Die-Versions.    Anne here and today I'm showcasing another card using the Winter Wonderland die set and coordinating stamp set.

To start out, the sled and snowman were die cut from white card stock, stamped with the coordinating image, and colored with Copic markers.  I also added Stickles (Star Dust) to the snowman body and the snow flakes kicked up from the sled.  Next I die cut two circles from more white cardstock.  On the first one, I spritzed it with Dylusions Ink Spray (Calypso Teal) and the second one I cut up to create snow banks.  After adhering the snow banks to the first circle, I covered the whole thing with more Star Dust Stickles and then adhered the snow man and the sled.

The front panel was dry embossed using a Crafters Companion embossing folder (Christmas Merriment).   Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China) gives the raised portions a touch of color.  Once this step was completed, I used a slightly smaller circle and die cut the center (be sure to save this piece for a later project) and layered the embossed front on top of the snowy scene.  The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of cardstock with Distress Ink (Broken China) that's the same as the card base and adhered below the focal point and then immediately covered with Ranger Clear embossing powder and heat set.  Then I stamped the small snowflake randomly along the rest of the strip.

Owl Love

Hello crafty friends,

Mary here today with what I hope are two cute and fun cards.

For this first card I went into my pile of scrap pattern papers and pulled out five that I thought worked well together.  I glued them directly to my card base and used four white die cut Sweet Petites Baseball Stitching dies as separators.

Next I added a few of the owls from the Owl My Thanks Stamp and Die set to the panels.  I used the tiny star and heart stamps on two of the panels for a little extra touch.

On the panel with the flying owl I added 2 die cut happy from the Sweet Wordlets Happy die.   I curved them a little to make it look like they were trailing after the flying owl.   As a finishing touch, I added the What a Hoot sentiment on the fringe banner.

My second card is a Spanish birthday card that I made for my niece's birthday a few weeks back.

I used the fringe banner from the Owl My Thanks die set again, only this time I die cut pattern paper. I added a die cut happy from the Sweet Wordlets Happy die and birthday from the Sweet Wordlets Birthday die on the die cut fringe banner.  I placed my favorite of the owls (with his party hat) on top of the banner and added a die cut Feliz Cumpleanos Sweet Spot die.

I hope you have enjoyed your time on our blog today.  Check back daily for new and fun inspiration.  Until next time

Happily Ever After

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Today I have a Wedding Card to share with you!  I have used the new Cut the Cake stamp set and Cut the Cake die set. These coordinating sets sure make cardmaking quick and easy!!

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card, then I took a piece of Stampin' Up Gold Fancy Foil Designer Series Vellum and stamped the "Happily Ever After" in Gold ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, then I attached it to the card base with a thin strip of tape.  Next I took the wedding bands and stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed that with white embossing powder and then I used the coordinating die to cut it out and then I took some gold ink and rubbed it over the top of the wedding bands and attached that it over the "Happily Ever After" sentiment.  Next I cut out the Whispers Hanging Love die in gold paper and attached that to the top of the card.  And that is it!  Easy Peasy and now I am ready for my cousin's wedding next month!!

Late Valentine card and envelope

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my late Valentine post.
I know it's two days later, but then it's my day to post and I made this Valentine card and an envelope and I really want to share them both with you.
So here we go:
Both card and envelope together:

As you can see I used this most gorgeous (even if it's not so new) Heart Burst die both over the card and the envelope.
Both cuts were made from patterned paper and the white die cut was divided into 2 parts and glued on both sides of my card.
Another die I used both over the card and the envelope is this Lacie dots  border die, die cut again from patterned paper and added over the lower part of both card and envelope.
The last but not the least die used here is I LOVE YOU die, also I used just Love You over my card.

So let me wish you a very Happy late Valentine! Life is full of love and I love my life and all of you!

Be My Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day!! I hope you have fun plans with your special someone!! Lisa here to share a couple of Valentine's Day cards with you today.

For these cards, I used Wee Petites Heart Doodles for the heart cut-outs. The top layer of paper was popped up with foam tape to give the hearts some dimension.

Wee Petites Buttons were used on the bows.

I used the hearts that were cut from the paper on the front to decorate the insides.

What's Up Dawg?

Anne here and I'm here today to share another card using the Puppy Love coordinating Dies and Stamps sets.  These are so fun to use.  I stamped and die cut three of the pups from the set and colored them with Copic markers.

The sentiment was created by layering the "Happy" Express Edge with the "Birthday" Express Edge and the stamping the sentiment on each layer multiple times with Memento Ink (Tuxedo Black).  Pan Pastels pearlescent pastels were used to for a bit of color on the border of the Express Edges.

The background was created by stamping the paw print and the small bone with Distress Ink (Tea Dye) and Memento Ink (Rich Cocoa).

Be sure to come back regularly to see what the rest of the Design Team has created using these new Die-Stamp coordinating sets.

Mr. and Mrs. Card

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Today I would like to share with you a Wedding card that I made using one of the new stamp sets and some dies from Die-Versions.

For this A2 card I started with white card stock and then I added a light grey polka dot paper.  Next I cut out the beautiful Whispers Mr. and Mrs. Background die in more white paper and added that to the card.  Next I stamped the wedding cake from the Cut the Cake stamp set and then I colored it with Copic Markers.  Then I cut it out using the matching wedding cake die from the Cut the Cake die set and added that on top of the Mr. & Mrs. Background die.  Then I stamped the bride and groom stamp from the Cut the Cake stamp set, colored it with Copic Markers and then cut it out with the matching bride and groom die from the Cut the Cake die set and placed it on top of the Wedding Cake.  Now don't you think this is a fun Wedding Card?  I sure do!!

Wish You A Meow-velous Day

Happy Saturday!! Lisa here to share a project with you using the Cat's Meow Stamp and Die combo from the December Release.

I have so much fun using this set. The adorable kitty, birds and flower are from the Cat's Meow Stamp Set and they were colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I then used the coordinating Cat's Meow Die Set to cut them out. The butterfly is from the set as well. It was stamped on patterned paper and then again on white cardstock and covered with sugar coating. I then cut around the inside of the glittered one and attached it to the stamped one for sparkle. The sweet sentiment is also from the Cat's Meow Stamp Set. The button is a Wee Petites Button die.

I stamped the awesome paw prints from the Cat's Meow Stamp Set on the inside of the card.

Gift Tags

Anne here and today I want to share a card using the Winter Wonderland coordinating Die-Stamp sets (Winter Wonderland diesWinter Wonderland stamps).  It's a quick and easy one, so you could create multiples in no time flat.  In addition to the Winter Wonderland images, the Sweet Wordlet "To: From:" was also added to each of my tags.  These little tags would also be great to add to presents as well as on a card front.

The images were stamped with Mementio ink and colored with Copic markers.  These small manilla tags were purchased at a scrapbook convention and I added A Wink of Stella (Silver) along the edges.  Spica glitter pens added sparkle to the snowflakes on the last tag.

Reach for the STARS

Hello crafty friends,

Mary here with three cards showcasing the Out Of This World Stamp Set and the Out Of This World Die Set.

I started this set of cards a little differently.  This time before I even thought of card designs I knew I wanted to have piles of stamped and die cut elements to work with.   So I stamped several copies of most of the elements from the stamp set onto white card stock and spent an afternoon of  somewhat mindless TV watching (reruns of old shows are good for this activity)  coloring my stamped images.   Once colored, I die cut them and created little piles of rocket ships, astronauts, planets, stars, etc.  I should have taken a photos of my piles :)

This cloud card was the first one I created.  I started w/a piece of cloud pattern paper and using distress inks I created my atmosphere layers.   I wanted to get the affect that the rocket was leaving the earth... going into space. I added some punched clouds and stamped my sentiment across two of them.  Stamped some star clusters and single stars, which I accented w/a tiny crystal gem.  Lastly I added my rocket and my planet/moon and stars stamped die cut.

This second card has a little more modern feel, because of the wood grain pattern paper background.  I used two small pocket journaling cards I had laying around.  I used several strips of washi tape (the clear star layer).  I placed several of the star cluster stamped die cuts under and around the rocket and the planet/moon and stars stamped die cut.  I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of white card stock and trimmed the ends into fishtails, to make a small banner, which I tucked under parts of the rocket.

My third and final card for today was inspired by some circle graph pattern paper. I cut the paper into a circle and stamped the star clusters all over it.  Next I added some stamped and die cut star clusters forming a center spiral of sorts. I added a die cut sun element ( I didn't stamp the sun, just die used the solid die cut) and a die cut star.  All the elements were colored using the same blue marker and wink of stella for a glittery affect.

I love how these cards turned out and I think they would make wonderful encouragement cards for school kids.  I would even say they would make great graduation cards.

I hope you have enjoyed your time on our blog today and that came back soon.  If you haven't had a chance to check out the new stamp and die sets, what are you waiting for... go do it right now.  Until next time

Owl My Love

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

I am here today to share with you a Valentine's Day Card I made with the new Owl My Thanks stamp set and the new Owl My Thanks Die set

I am really loving these matching stamp and dies, it makes it so easy to stamp and image, color it in with Copics and then cut it out with the matching die!  As easy as 1 - 2 - 3!!  For this A2 card I started with dark brown cardstock for the base of the card, next I took a piece of woodgrain paper and cut an oval out and added that to the card.  Then I stamped the Owl stamp on white paper, colored him in and then cut him out with the corresponding die and then pop-dotted him and added him to the card.  Then I stamped the banner and the sentiment and the tiny heart and colored them in with Copics and die cut them with the corresponding dies and added them to the card!  Isn't that owl just the cutest?

Please be sure to stop by the Die-Versions Blog often for more ideas on how to use your stamps and dies and to be inspired!  Be sure to share your creations with us on the Die-Versions Facebook page.

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!
