MEOW-velous Day

Hello, everyone!
Wow!
I'm so enjoying the new stamps and coordinating dies that Die-Versions
is now carrying.  I'm looking forward to seeing the next release, aren't you?

Here's what I created this week:

This card was created using the Die-Versions Cat's Meow Stamps DV-9013, and the

I'm finding the Die-Versions stamps to stamp so cleanly, and of course, their dies
cut through any cardstock like butter.  This white cardstock is 100#, and I had no trouble,
even with the tiny string detail on the ball of yarn.
The die cuts just pop right out!

This sweet paper pad, a Colorbok pad from Walmart, seemed perfect for this card.
Sort of matches the ball of yarn, don't you think?
The little heart was stamped with Tim Holtz Broken China ink,
and all coloring was done with Copics.
Some pretty twine completed the focal panel.
Card base is A2 and is made with Kraft cardstock.
The kitty is popped up with some foam squares, and looks so sweet in real life!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I hope that you'll become a follower of our Die-Versions blog! - SO much inspiration
to be found here!

And....while you are out and about, be sure to check out the Die-Versions store!

Have a great day,
Patti J.

I Woof You

Anne here and today's card features the new Puppy Love Die-Stamp coordinating sets (Puppy Love diesPuppy Love stamps).

The background for my scene was created using Pan Pastels (Turquoise, Pearlescent Blue, Pearlescent Violet, Chrom-Oxide Green, Permanent Green, Neutral Grey, Silver, Black) and the Die-Versions Spring Tree die.  The rest of the stamps and dies are all part of the Puppy Love set with the exception of the birds, which are part of the Spring Tree die.  Copics were used to color these stamps and a touch of Spica glitter pen was used in each of the flower centers and the tree leaves.

I think this sentiment can be used for so many occasions, including Valentines (which will be here before we know it), birthdays, anniversaries, just because....and the list goes on.  Be sure to check out all the new Die-Stamp sets at Die-Versions.

What a Hoot!!

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Today I want to show you a card I made with the new DV Stamp Set Owl My Thanks and the matching DV Die Set Owl My Thanks:

For this A2 card I started with kraft cardstock and I added the striped paper to that and then the snowflake paper on top of that.  Next I stamped the owls, the branch, the banner and the sentiment on the banner all in black ink on white paper.  I colored them in with Copic markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to the card.  Easy Peasy!!  And aren't they great! You can make so many different kinds of cards with this stamp and die set!  I love them!!  Have you tried them yet?  You really have to!!

You can see all the other stamp sets and coordinating die sets that were in the December Release.  Make sure to check the DV Blog often for more inspiration!!  And please share with us your projects using the new stamps and dies on the DV Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Key to my heart

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this is my last card made  in January with new DV release.
DV new release is totally different and totally delicious: new fantastic sets of dies and stamps make your crafty life easy and outstanding.
I love all combo sets  in the shop and I am very glad to get two sets that I love even more:
Tweety Pie dies and Tweety Pie stamps and Sail Away  dies and Sail away  stamps.
This is my second card made with Tweety Pie set and I also added one DV background die as my basic matting of this card (Ovals background)

This time I used a few pieces that were already die cut and I didn't use them on my first card.
And I still believe in gold as a color trend in 2015 I painted the lock and the key  with gold glitter , added a bit of clear glitter over the empty places and stamped the sentiment with red ink.
As Valentine is near, this is a very fast kind of cards to make just with one single die and stamp DV set.

You can follow the Die-Versions BlogFacebook Page, and shop till you drop at the Die-Versions Website!!!
Hope you like my card and hope to see you here again soon with my next project.

"Dream Big" Birthday Card

Hello Die-versions fans!

Emmy here today with a birthday card, created with my favorite set from our newest release full of wonderful Dies & Stamps sets

As I've mentioned already, my favorite set is the "Make a Wish" Dies & Stamps set. I just love those cute little presents and stars!

I stamped the images with brown archival ink on white cardstock and colored them with different shades of pink and golden Gelatos.

I shaped my embellishments and adhered the different layers with mounted tape.

I used Die-Versions "Smile" Sweet Frame Die to frame my images.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Out Of This World... Take 2

Hello crafty friends,

It's been so much fun to play with Die-Versions' newly released stamp and die sets.   One of the sets I received was the Out Of This World Stamp Set and the Out Of This World Die Set and I have been having so much fun playing and creating with them.   I'm a space geek as are my husband and son, so I know I will find lot of uses for these two sets.  I already have several cards and layouts ready for future posts.   Today I'll show you a layout and a card.

The layout documents our trip last summer to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  Don't get me started on how incredibly fantastic this place was.  I wanted my layouts to be extra special and was waiting for the right products and design to come among.

I started the layout w/a large (12x7) photo of the guys standing under the coolest rocket ever made.  I created a border to the right of the large photo with my die cuts.  They were absolutely the perfect embellishment for this page. I used the "reach for the stars" stamp sentiment as the beginning and ending for the quote "reach for the moon even if you miss, you'll land among the stars", which I place to the right of the two smaller photos.

The hardest part of this layout was coming up with a title.  I would think of something and dismiss it right away.  I kept coming back to the "out of this world" sentiment on the stamp set.  I really liked it, but knew I had to do something with it to make it stand out, because titles are suppose to be large and bold... right?

It took me a little while to came up with the idea of giving the stamped "out of this world" sentiment more visual weight by using strong words next to it.

I love how the layout turned out, but in all honestly if I were to do it again, I would print and stamp my journaling right onto the photo instead of the transparency I used.

The first card I created with the Out Of This World Stamp Set and the Out Of This World Die Set was this "Wish you a Stellar Birthday" card that was feature on the Die-Versions' news letter.

I also used the Express Edges BIRTHDAY die and the Lady Liberty Font die on this card.

Who wouldn't love getting a card like this one.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  If you got this set of stamps and dies, I would love to see your projects.  Post them or a link of them on our facebook page.

Until next time

Winter Wonderland

Anne here and I'm showcasing Winter Wonderland, one of the new Die-Stamp sets recently debuted at Die-Versions.    For today's wintery card, I started out by stamping my moose onto white cardstock, die cutting him with the coordinating die, and coloring him with Copics.   Buff flock was added to his antlers and hoofs.

The trees were each die cut twice - once in vellum and once in green cardstock.  Next I stamped the trees with VersaMark onto the vellum and heat embossed each one with Shasta Puff embossing powder.  I layered these on top of the green die cut trees.  The sentiment, which is part of the Winter Wonderland stamp set, was stamed with VersaMark and heat embossed with Blue Silver embossing powder.

Cloud Nine velvet glitter was used to create my snow.  I applied brushable glue to the ground and added dots of dimensional glue for my snowflakes and then covered everything with the Cloud Nine velvet glitter.

For the blue cardstock base, I wanted a subtle pattern so I stamped the smallest of the three snowflakes from the set with VersaMark onto the open space of the cardstock and heat set it, leaving a perfect watermarked image.

There are ten new die and coordinating clear stamp sets that were recently released and all are so cute.  If you haven't checked out these new coordinating die sets yet, you really should.

Always and Forever

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

I would like to share with you today a Valentine's Day card I made using the new Cut the Cake stamp set and Cut the Cake die set:

For this A2 card I started with white cardstock for the base of the card.  Next I cut out the Whispers Morroco Background die with red paper and added that to the card.  Then I stamped the heart and doves in black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers and then cut it out using the heart and dove die and I pop-dotted that to a white tag.  I stamped the Always and Forever in black in above the heart and doves and then I inked the edge of the tag with red ink.  Next I stamped the heart in black ink and colored that in with Copics and die cut it out and attached it to the top of the tag.  Then I took some red and pink ribbon and added that to the tag and then I pop-dotted that onto the card.  Next I stamped the three small hearts together stamp, colored it with Copics and and die cut it out and added some Stickles to make it shine a little and added it to the bottom right of the card.

Here is a close up of the tag:

I really love how the coordinating dies cut out the stamped image so perfectly!  No more fussy cutting for me!!  You will just have to try them out for yourself to see how quick and easy it makes it to make cards!

Be sure to check out all the other new stamp sets and die sets that just came out in the December Release.  Also check out DV Blog often for new ideas on how to use our products!  And share your creations with us on the DV Facebook Page.

I hope I have inspired you to create something amazing today!!

Let your dreams sail!

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and I am very happy to continue to design for Die-Versions for my second year.
I already made my first post a week ago with Tweety Pie set, so now it's Sail Away turn.

As this set is kind of a themed one, I used Beaches themed paper from PHP as my background and then added three squares with three different die cut shapes from this set. Each shape was stamped with blue pigmented ink and heat embossed with clear powder. Then I inked it a bit with Tea Die distress ink and glued with 3d foam over the background.

You can follow the Die-Versions BlogFacebook Page, and shop till you drop at the Die-Versions Website!!!
Hope you like my card and hope to see you here again soon with my next project.

Puppy Love

Have you seen the new Die-Stamp sets that Die-Versions has recently released?  They are clear photopolymer stamps and coordinating low profile dies (both of which are made in the USA.)  If not, you need to  check them out as they are so cute!

Anne here, and today I'm sharing the new Puppy Love Stamps and coordinating dies, Puppy Love Dies.  I have to admit that I'm wasn't a huge fan of clear stamps as I've had puddling and non-uniform stamped images in the past.  However, I had no issues whatsoever with these stamps and dies!  And they were so easy to use!  I die cut the outline and then stamped the image right on top.  Since they are clear stamps, I could tell exactly where I was placing them on top of the die cuts.  Then I took out my Copics and started coloring.

I decided to create a mini magazine holder that I had seen on Split Coast Stampers.  This made a perfect gift for my dog lover friend.  When it came time to embellish the sides, I didn't have any animal patterned papers that I liked, so I created my own using the dog bone and paw print that came in the set.  Love how you can customize papers to coordinate with the theme.  Here are photos of the left and right sides of the mini magazine holder.  I also customized my little note paper with the paw prints.

One other thing I discovered while making these mini holders is that they are the perfect size to hold my new Die-Versions Die-Stamp sets!  I had created a prototype to make sure I was following the instructions (it was hard for me to see exactly what was going on in the step by steps as the author used black cardstock for the folder base.)  Since I don't like to throw anything away, I started playing around with various things that would fit and not be too top heavy.  Imagine a happy dance when I realized the clear stamps fits perfectly!

I used the packaging insert from the clear stamps, cut down the sides to fit, and adhered a piece of magnetic paper on the front.  This magnetic page holds the dies in place.  The clear stamps on the acetate already fit without any altering.  The packaging insert, which is taller than the stamps or my magnetic page, acts as a tab between each of the Die-Stamp sets.  I've also written the name of each set in the upper left hand corner for easy referral.

Fur-Ever Friends

Happy Saturday!! Lisa here to share a project with you using the adorable new Cat's Meow Stamp/Die combo from Die-Versions!! These new stamps and matching dies are so awesome...the stamps stamp perfectly and the dies cut precisely...no more fussy cutting!!

I just love this set!! I've been a dog person my whole life but a few years ago, a determined stray cat adopted me and then had a litter of babies, so I adopted them, too :) The mama kitty disappeared one day, as did one of the tiny kitties, but the other three are now my babies. So I made this card with them in mind :) I stamped the adorable kitties from the Cat's Meow Stamp Set and then colored them with Prismacolor Pencils.

I then used the coordinating Cat's Meow Die Set to cut them out. I added the ball of twine and popped them all up with foam tape for dimension. 'Fur-ever Friends' is also from the Cat's Meow Stamp Set.

You &Me So Tweet

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and I am very happy to continue to design for Die-Versions for my second year.
So here is a first card I made with Tweety Pie set and it's just perfect for the soon to come Valentine.

I made the basic card with two matching glitter cardstock mattings and added this gold glitter panel as my stamped images base.
Gold is back and will be the most significant trend in the new 2015 year. So grab your gold glitters, pens, paints and embellishments and make this year your Golden one.
It was my very first time to work with matching dies and stamps and here are some tips for all of us who are new to this combos.
1. First die cut the images using a very thick cardstock. Do not disconnect the small dies in the set; keep them as is unless you want to loose some later...
2. Pick the images you want to stamp and the matching die cuts. Find the right way to stamp over the blank die cut piece as even if it seems to be symmetric, sometimes there is only one right way to stamp over the die cut piece.
That's it. Really easy and fun way to make lovely cards and crafts.
As you can see I used glitter glue to color my  die cut and stamped images and added a few small rhinestones as bird's eyes and around the stamped sentiment.

You can follow the Die-Versions BlogFacebook Page, and shop till you drop at the Die-Versions Website!!!
Hope you like my card and hope to see you here again soon with my next project.
