Halloween Rocks!

Hello crafty friends,

I'm still going strong with our Halloween dies. Just can't stop creating with the Witch Hat -Whispers die, plus a few awesome die cuts sent to me by Design Team friends Anne, Lisa and Lori... THANK you ladies!

Today I have two "craved" pumpkin cards. Both of the pumpkins used on these cards were found online... they are free coloring pages. They were both colored orange with several Distress Inks. The following dies or die cuts were used:
Witch Hat Whispers
Skeleton Whispers
Spider Web Whisper

On the witch hat card, I die cut the witch hat once from the center of my pumpkin and once from a piece of yellow card stock. I paper pieced the two different color die cuts, because I wanted the look of a glowing craved pumpkin. I added a few sections of die cut spider web and a couple of spiders

On the skeleton card, I was working with a die cut, instead of a die, so I colored my skeleton the same color as my pumpkin and attached him on the back of the pumpkin with just a bit of the head and feet touching the fussy "craved" pumpkin center.

I closed the opening with a piece of plastic (a recycled product bag).  Added foam, my shaker filling and backed it with a piece of yellow card stock.  Attached the "craved" pumpkin shaker element to my card front and added an orange ribbon to the pumpkin and a Happy Halloween stamped sentiment.

Thanks for stopping bye today, I hope I have motivated you to get some of these dies, because they ROCK!

I love Halloween, therefore I own a TON of Halloween dies, stamps, stickers, ribbon, etc, etc, etc,   This Witch Hat is the only Witch Hat die I own. I love it's size and it's versatility... cut off the spiders and web and you have a wizard's hat.  I did not receive the skeleton for my team assignment, but having gotten a few die cuts of him last week... I can honesty said that I will be buying him asap.  I've seem other skeleton dies were the "bone sections" are separate... I love that he's one piece.

Well, that's it for me today... I'll be back in a few days with more, yes you guess'ed it... more Halloween cards :)  Until next time

    1. Thanks Lori. The hat is paper pieced w/both yellow, it would have been a lot easier and faster to just back it w/yellow, but I didn't think of it until I was almost done w/it :)
