Awareness Square

Hello Die-Versions Fans,
I am going to share with you another Breast Cancer card that I made using the new Whispers Awareness Square. For this card I started with white card stock for the base and then I added a piece of tiny pink heart paper to it.  Next I took my Sparkle N Sprinkle Doulbe sided Tear-ific Tape 1/8 " wide and added that all around the edge of the card.  Next I took some Sparkle N Sprinkle Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter and added that to the tape.  It is a bit hard to see in the picture but it really shines pretty on the card!  Then I took the Whispers Awareness Square die and cut it out twice, once with solid pink paper and then again with the printed vellum paper.  I love the way the vellum paper looks like ribbons flying all around in the air.  I placed the vellum on top of the pink paper and then added that to the center of the card.  Next I took two glitter pink heart brads and put them at the ends of the ribbons.  I really like the way this card turned out and I am going to be sending this off with my other Breast Cancer Awareness cards that I have made to Fighting Pretty, an organization that has a mission to help women feel strong and beautiful  during and after cancer treatment.

If you missed the Cancer Awareness Joint Blog Hop that took place on July 31 with the Design Teams from Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle you really need to go back on the blog and check out the wonderful projects that everyone made! You can see all the wonderful cards here!!
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Awareness dies and the Awareness stamp sets will be donated to help cancer research.
Don't forget to stop by the DV Blog often for more creative inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by!
