Rainy Days don't have to be blue

Hello crafty friends,

Before I start playing and creating with dies from our next two releases,  I have one more post featuring the Whispers - Rainy Day die.

First, a card fit for a princess...
I was thinking "somewhere over the rainbow" when making this card. I started w/a free clip art castle image I found on the internet, which I printed right on my pattern paper.

Tip... try printing on regular printer paper first.  When you get your image placed in the position you want, reprint it on your final paper or card base.

I die cut two Rainy Day clouds, painted the "rain drops" w/copic markers. Covered the clouds and the sun with glitter and added them to my card.  I added a few more glitter drops for even more sparkle.

Next I made a layout using a photo we took last summer at Universal Studios.

The Whispers - Rainy Day die was the perfect embellishment, because it rained the whole day there.  At one point the rain got so bad, that we took cover in a Bluff beer bar.

While making this layout I was thinking "liquid sunshine".  I don't know where the thought  "liquid sunshine" came from, but it was definitely on my mind and that's why the rain clouds are yellow.

Once again, I used two Rainy Day clouds, painted the "rain drops" yellow w/copic markers and covered them in glitter.  Behind them I added yellow stenciled rain drops.

All this layout needs to call it done, is the date and some journaling.

Thanks for stopping bye today.  Until next time
