Happy Verterans Day & Cut Out Congrats!

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Die-Versions and I would like to Thank all our past and present military heroes on this Veterans Day!!  We appreciate your sacrifices, service and dedication to the USA!!  We salute you!!

For this A2 card I used the Sweet Phrases Hero die and the Sweet Phrases Thank You die and cut them out with some of my red, white and blue papers and it will be sent out to Operation Write Home for "Any Hero" mail.  And now on to our regularly scheduled projects!!

Today I am going to show you a two cards I made with the new Cut Out Congrats die from our new October Release!  Here is my 1st card:

For this card I started with ivory cardstock for the base of the card.  Then I took a piece of Pink Paislee Core Impressions Hexagon embossed paper and ran it thru my Vagabond with the Cut Out Congrats die and I attached that to the ivory cardstock.  Next I took the Whispers Mr. and Mrs.Background die and cut that out in off white patterned paper and I took the big heart from that die and placed it in the middle of the card.  Next I cut out the Whispers Wedding Canopy die in the same off white patterned paper and I added that to the center of the card.  Next I sanded the hexagons on the Core Impressions paper.  So what do you think?  I really love the way this Wedding Card turned out!

My next card is a Congrats on your New Home:

I wanted to show you on this card that you can place the Cut Out Congrats die any place on your card!  For this A2 card I started with a hot pink cardstock for the base of the card.  Next I cut a piece of pale pink paper to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and then I took the Cut Out Congrats die and placed it on an angel on the pale pink paper and I taped it in place with removable tape and then I ran it through my Vagabond.  Then I attached that to the card.  Next I took a piece of shiny copper paper and cut out the Whispers Keys and Keyhole die and placed them on the card.  Then I took the Mister Micro Font and cut out the letters with the same copper paper to make the sentiment "on your new home".  Lastly I took some Tim Holtz Distress Stain Antique Bronze and swiped that around the edges of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today and that I have inspired you to create someting today!!
