Easy made die cut Mixed Media

Hello our dear crafty friends !
This is my Mixed Media project made with some stamps , a lot of Die -Versions dies and some mediums and stamping made as my background.

The whole project today was an experiment as I never used so much adhesives, even for die cutting combined with embossing powders   and some of the effects are cool, some are hard to make and some were just impossible  and not even added to this piece.
So here we go!

I used the thick white cardstock as my " canvas" that was heavily stamped and heat embossed.

The brick wall was made with a Die- Versions Bricks Background die  and  adhesive permanent sheets for an easy adhering of big die cut pieces.  First I made the heat embossed background using this die cut as my mask.

As the die cut was already covered with embossing ink I heat embossed it  adhered in two pieces to make my outer brick wall.

The main  Butterfly Flourish  die was cut twice. The lower layer was cut with 3d Foam White creative sheet and also the cut was easy, as the die is very delicate it was a hard work to release all small pieces from inside. I am sure that using less delicate die makes the work easier. The second problem with this  foam cut was when I heat embossed it: : it shrinked! Also I really love the result the flowers and the butterflies are much smaller that they were originally.
So I made another regular paper cut from the same die , coloured , heat embossed   and glued over the first die cut layer.
As you can see the whole piece is made with a mix of dies just to show you that Die-Versions dies are great for Mixed Media art work too.
