Save the WHOoters!!

Hello Die-Versions Fans!!

Happy Wednesday!!  Today I am going to share 2 cards with you that I made with the Build an Owl die for the Blog Hop that we are sponsoring on October 21st for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Plus I hope this will help you to think "out of the box" when it comes to using your Die-Versions Dies!!  This particular die was released with our Christmas in July Release, but as you can see it works for anytime of year!!

For this A2 card I started with pink cardstock and inked the edges with brown ink.  I  added a piece of tan textured paper to the base of the card after inking the edges with brown ink.  Next I cut out the pieces to my owl using papers from my stash.  Next I cut out the Gatsby font in hot pink and added the sentiment along with a Pink Cancer Ribbon.  Now doesn't Ms Owl look so cute in her pink cap and scarf??  And I think she will help to cheer up a breast cancer patient. For my next card I used the same dies just cut them with different color paper that I had in my scrap box.  So which Ms Owl card do you like better? I can't make up my mind!  I just think the owl is adorable!!

Now I would like to give you some details on our Blog Hop on October 21st!  The Die-Versions Diva's are going to be making cards in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month and we will be donating them to Fighting Pretty.  Fight Pretty's mission is to help women feel strong and beautiful during and after cancer treatment.  We would love it if you would join us in making a card or more for this great cause.  We will have a linky on our DV Blog that day and you can link up your card until Tuesday, October 28th.  The winner will be announced on Wednesday, October 29th on our DV Blog and she will receive a $25.00 gift card prize to be used at  Die-Versions on-line store.  The winning card will be picked by the DV Design Team and if you would like to donate your card or cards to this wonderful cause just e-mail Lori at mulchlady@aol.com to get the address of where to send your card.  I do hope you will join us on October 21st!!  Our whooters are counting on you!!
