Gingerbread Wishes

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

How are you on this Tuesday, the first day of Fall??  Did you go to the Die-Versions + Great Impressions Blog Hop yesterday??  If you missed it ~ make sure you check it out!  The 2 Design Teams did an AWESOME job on their projects!!

Now I don't know about you, but for me it isn't Christmas with out some Gingerbread!!  Gingerbread just screams Christmas to me so today I am going to share with you my card that I made with the absolutely adorable Gingerbread House die!!

I just LOVE this die so much!!  But then again, why wouldn't I since I love anything Gingerbread!!  For this A2 card I started with a light blue cardstock for the base, next I added a piece of polka dot paper.  All the pieces for the Gingerbread house and the candy are included in this die.  So first I cut out the brown paper for the base of the house and chimney.  Next I cut the windows and trim out with cinnamon paper.  I cut some blue paper for the windows, and I cut out the icing or snow with white paper.  I cut out all the candy pieces in white paper and colored them with my Copic Markers.  The hearts over the door and windows I cut out with two different shades of pink paper.  For the senitment I cut out the Sweet Wordlets "Tis The Season" in green paper and attached that to the card.  So what do you think?  Does it scream Christmas to you too??  Don't you just want to start taking all your gingerbread ornaments out and decorate?  I sure do!!

Well I hope I have inspired you to create something yummy today!  Be sure to stop by the Die-Versions Blog often for new project ideas!  And make sure to share with us on our Die-Versions Facebook page any of your projects that you make using your DV dies!  We love to see what everyone creates!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
Lori
