Life As a DIVA!!

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

Happy Tuesday!!  I hope everyone has recovered from the big 4th of July Weekend!!  Today I want to share with you two cards that I made using the new Diva Express Edge die.  Here is the first one:

For this A2 card I started with white cardstock for the base.  I then cut a piece of patterned paper to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and I inked the edges with Close To My Heart Desert Storm ink and then attached that to the card base. Next I stamped an Art Impressions stamp on white paper and colored it with Copic Markers.  Then I inked the edges with the same ink and placed that on top of a piece of peach colored paper.  Next I cut out the Diva Express Edge die twice, once in the aqua woodgrain paper and then again in cranberry paper.  I put the stamped image on the on top of the aqua woodgrain paper and I used the cranberry Diva to offset the aqua Diva and I glued the whole thing down on the card.  So what do you think?  Is my Diva a "hottie" or what?

Here is my second card:

For this A2 card I started with white cardstock for the base and then I cut a piece of beige patterned paper down to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and attached that to the base.  Next I cut out the Diva Express Edge die with pinkish paper and added that to the card on an angle.  Then I used the Crochet Lace Whispers and cut that out twice in ecru paper and placed one right under the Diva word and then other one right under the pinkish paper edge.  Then I used the Pretty Hat Whispers and cut that out in the same pinkish paper.  I put two pink flowers together with a brad and placed that right in the middle of the flower on the hat.  I love the way the flowers add some dimesion to the hat!  Now it is already to send out to some special lady!!

Please be sure to stop by the Die-Versions Blog everyday for some wonderful ideas on how to use our dies!!  And we really want to see what you create with your dies so please share them with us on the Die-Versions Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful today!
