Mr. & Mrs. Card

Hello Die-Versions Fans,

I have a Wedding coming up the end of June that I am going to and I just made a card for it, but I made it two different ways and I can't dedice which way I like it better!  So I was hoping that all my Pals out in cyberland could help me to make the decision!!  Here is my original card:

For this A2 card I used the new "Mr. & Mrs. Background" Whispers die to cut out some pastel vellum paper that I had on hand.  I started with a white cardstock for the base of the card and then I put the "Mr. & Mrs. Background" on the card.  Next I took the center heart and ran it thru my Vagabond with an embossing file and then I put the heart back into the center of the card.  Now I really liked the way this looked, but then I decided to try another die along with this one and this is what I came up with:

For this version I took the new "Wedding Canopy" Whispers and cut it out in white paper and then with two little snips of my scissors I cut out the bride and groom and added them on top of the embossed heart!  And now I don't know which one I like better!!  Tell me in the comments below which version of the card you like better, because I can't decide which one to use for the Wedding I am going to.  I really love both the "Mr. & Mrs. Background" Whisper and the "Wedding Canopy" dies!  They are both so elegant and you can make a beautiful card in just a few minutes!!

I hope I have inspired you today, and don't forget to tell me which card you like better!

Please be sure to check the DV blog everyday for more ideas of how to use the new May  Die-Versions dies!  Our Design Team has really done a wonderful job with these new dies and I know you are going to love their projects and want all the dies too!!  And don't forget to share your creations with on us on the DV Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Lori, the "Mr. & Mrs. Background" Whispers is a fantastic die. Both cards are beautiful... I vote for the 2nd card, because the bride and groom die cut just adds that extra especial touch.

  2. Great cards, both of them! I like the first card better, because it seems to be more uniformity. The bride and groom die-cut makes the second card less uniformity. It is possible when I see this card in real (not a picture) that it is different, but for now I vote for the second card!

  3. They are both gorgeous, Lori!! If I had to choose, I would pick the second one because the bride and groom over the embossed heart looks amazing!!

  4. They both look good but personally I prefer first card

  5. Well, both wedding cards are pretty but second card is best. Heart consisting couple is looking good. In my opinion second one is good. Wedding card plays significant role in making wedding special therefore you should go for second card. To buy similar wedding cards online visit

  6. Thanks for everyone's input!! I think I am going to go with the one with the Bride and Groom.
