For the Bride

Hello crafty friends,

I have two cards to showcase today and they are both for the bride.  My first card is a bridal shower invitation.  It's glittery and full of pearls.
I used washi tape for my card background... I just ran washi tape along the card edges and on either side of the center section.  I die cut two Slim Dress Whispers from white glitter paper and added tiny peals to the bottom of them.  Also using white glitter paper I die cut "shower for the bride" from the Red Carpet Font die.  This was a super easy card to make and it's so pretty in person.

I used the Slim Dress Whispers die again on my second card along with the Hearts Background Whispers die and I'll tell you a little secret about the Hearts Background Whispers die cut.  It's looks like vellum, but I didn't have vellum on hand, so I used parchment paper.  Now you are probably smiling, because you know something I only just realized...  parchment paper does not adhere to anything.   The only thing holding the parchment paper down is the dimensional foam adhesive I added to the back of the frame and dress that touches the background paper in a few places.
Here's a quick look at the dies I used on these two cards.
Until next time...
